My bachelor's project: 2 graphic novels + 10 illustrated posters raising awareness on human trafficking, child sex trafficking, poverty and child adoption in Cambodia. The graphic novels were illustrated using Chinese ink, pen, paper embossing and letterpress printing and the posters were made with hand drawn pencil work and digital mixed media. The narratives follow the parallel and intertwining lives of two girls born in poverty in Cambodia, and the different paths their lives take. Rhyming poetic language guides the reader through the stories.
